My name is Shary Junco, oddly pronounced "Chatty". I've always played with the idea of bringing my imagination to life. Whether I had my eyes glued to the latest comic book, or my fingers restlessly roaming a sketchbook, I loved to create. I've spent my whole life in Florida, itching to see the world and all the endless art it has to offer.
When it comes to visual poetry I'm right at home. I've always envisioned myself as an artist. Even as a child, trying to keep my crayon from falling out of the line's boundary, I just knew. It's a rare calling in life you know is right for you and can see yourself doing even after retirement.
“Having Shary on the Digi Craft team has helped us go above and beyond the expectations of our customers. With her experience, talents and skill sets, she brought a lot more to the table then expected. Numerous Digi Craft client projects have passed through her hands and eyes, Shary carefully met them with creativity, diligence and professionalism. I am honored to recommend Shary Junco for your next print or web design project.” ~ May 12, 2011

“As a student, Shary's intent to learn every detail about design and typography stood out. She was clearly in school for all the right reasons. As a designer, her focus on learning beyond the classroom makes her a valuable employee for anyone hoping to hire a great designer who is destined to become exceptional.” ~ May 3, 2009

“My Art Appreciation class is demanding in that it requires a large amount of reading, writing, discussing, and analytical thinking about Art. I always looked forward to reading Shary's papers because I knew that she would have some thoughtful and unique insights that I could learn from; likewise if I called her in class I knew she would have something meaningful to contribute to our discussions. In addition, Shary sought out opportunities to experience cultural offerings in our community beyond what was required for the course. Shary always showed up with a smile on her face and a pleasant demeanor. She was a positive and creative influence on the class as a whole. There is no doubt in my mind Shary will achieve much less success in her future and academic professional endeavors.” ~ March 20, 2008

“It has been a privilege to have Shary in my classes and she is an amazing student. She always excels in all aspects of her projects and takes pride in all the stages of her process. Shary is very good at being able to see the end product of her work, but doesn’t skip the important middle steps. While having her in I noticed that she enjoyed being able to inspire and motivate her fellow students. We often had days of critiquing in class and I never had a hard time getting her to participate with others.” ~ November 25, 2008
